About the Royal Alcázar of Seville and the Cathedral

The Royal Alcázar of Seville is one of Europe’s most outstanding palace complexes and the oldest royal palace still in use on the continent. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site together with Seville Cathedral and the Archivo de Indias, it masterfully combines Islamic, Mudéjar, Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque architectural styles, reflecting the different historical periods that have shaped the city.

What You’ll See During the Visit

During the tour, you will explore the courtyards, halls, and gardens of the Royal Alcázar, discovering iconic spaces such as the Patio of the Maidens (Patio de las Doncellas) and the Hall of Ambassadors (Salón de Embajadores). Afterwards, you will visit Seville Cathedral, one of the largest Gothic cathedrals in the world, where you can admire the Main Altarpiece (Retablo Mayor), the tomb of Christopher Columbus, and climb La Giralda to enjoy one of the finest panoramic views of Seville.

“Whoever has not seen Seville has not seen a wonder.” – Traditional Spanish proverb

Interesting Facts
